2025 Toyota bZ4X start at $46,700
Toyota’s new electric car sub-brand, bZ, stands for “Beyond Zero.” This refers to the brand’s goal of producing zero-emission vehicles. The first vehicle to be released under this brand is the bZ4X crossover SUV which will launch in mid-2023.
The bZ4X is based on the e-TNGA platform that Toyota has co-developed with Subaru and is the first of seven by models that Toyota plans to launch globally by 2025. The bZ4X will have a spacious interior with a digital gauge display and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen.
It will come as either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and features an intelligent key that allows for automatic opening when you wave your foot under the center of the rear bumper. Safety features include a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD) and a Moving View setting that creates an animated virtual view from above.
In terms of performance, the bZ4X has a range of 516 km (321 mi) for the front-wheel drive version and 470 km (290 mi) for the all-wheel drive version.
